Moriah Ray-Britt
Moriah Ray-Britt is a visual artist who creates work in painting, printmaking, digital collage, animation, and book illustration. She is a professional graphic designer and illustrator, designing print and digital collateral for nonprofit organizations. As a teaching artist, she utilizes these skills to facilitate student projects in studio art, visual storytelling through book illustration, digital collage, graphic design, and fiber art.
Moriah obtained an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in Illustration as a Visual Essay and a BA degree from Fordham University in Art History and History. She is a trained art conservator and a Yoga Alliance certified teacher, focusing on yantra art and meditation. She incorporates this education within her studio practice as well as her teaching practice.
