Celeste Cruz

Celeste R. Cruz has served in music education for over 30 years. In addition to teaching middle school chorus and theatre, Mrs. Cruz is a NYSSMA adjudicator, has chaired all-county festivals, and serves on the Professional Advisory Council for Music Education at Five Towns College. Mrs. Cruz was also a guest conductor for SCMEA all-county for Div II. As the Assistant Chairperson for her district's Excellence through Equity in Education team, Mrs. Cruz advocates for all students to experience an equitable and equal well-rounded education.

While being an educator keeps her busy, Mrs. Cruz enjoys balancing her time with her husband James of 31 years, her two daughters, and five grandchildren. Mrs. Cruz is also an ordained Minister of Music and serves in her church. Celeste Cruz is a doctoral candidate in music education anticipating completion in summer 2022.
