Michelle Lopez
Michelle will collaborate with PEACE to support social-emotional learning through the arts during the project development and implementation. Michelle is the Executive Director of La Fuerza de Familias Latinas, a program of Literacy Partners and Univision. Has a degree in Art Therapy from Hofstra University and a B.A. in Communication Arts from Fordham University. She has over 15 years of creating award-winning programs in the museum field, where she served as Director of Education & Community Programs at the Children’s Museum of the Arts in SoHo, and Manager of ArtAccess Programs & Autism Initiatives at Queens Museum. Michelle is also an alumnus of the International Exchange Program of the US Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She teaches a course on Art and Human Development at The City University of New York; and channels her passion for working across cultures to make artistic and educational resources accessible to all as an accessibility and inclusion consultant.
